The Ron Thompson Jail and Prison Ministry (RTJPM) is a Christ-centered ministry whose main purpose is to share the Biblical teachings of the marvelous gift of salvation with everyone. It was developed by and is supported by Christians to help bring lost souls to a saving knowledge of Christ and help young Christians grow in the knowledge of God’s grace and the divinity of Jesus Christ.
The materials used are five books of Biblically-based correspondence lessons now known as “Studies in Grace” and “Divinity of Christ” which were written by the founder, Dr. Ron Thompson, after many years of research, writing and teaching. Although he pastored several churches and taught classes for several colleges and seminaries, Dr. Thompson developed a deep concern and compassion for prisoners and inmates as he worked with them and ministered to them for nearly twenty years. These lessons were the result.
Our Mission is to build support for a cure to an epidemic that is plaguing our nation as a whole. Our jails and prisons are full of desperate men and women.
